Red Sox recalled RHP Matt Barnes from Triple-A Pawtucket.
The Red Sox placed Shane Victorino (hamstring) on the 15-day DL, opening up a roster spot for Barnes. The 24-year-old was starting for Pawtucket, but he'll be used out of the bullpen in Boston. This will be Barnes' second stint in the majors after appearing in five games for the Red Sox last September. Apr 25 - 5:13 PM
