Sammy Sosa and Mark McGwire may be the faces of the steroid era in baseball, but the former Chicago Cubs star does not appear to have any regrets about the 1998 home run chase.
"Pretty much I can say, that year in '98 we had a plan and we put everything together and we came out on top of everybody else," Sosa told ESPN's Scott Van Pelt (3:57 mark) when asked about answering for the "sins" of the era. " ... I don't have no problem to represent anybody else, but what I don't like is to take blame for somebody else.
