Roger Clemens Accuses Senator Mitchell of Being Paid Nearly $40 Million

Not only does Roger Clemens deny use of performance-enhancing drugs, he believes the senator who accused him was involved in bribery.

The pitcher, who among many other baseball players of his era was named in the Mitchell Report, called out Senator George Mitchell on Undeniable with Joe Buck.

"I'd like to find out if [Congressman Henry] Waxman had a referral fee from Mitchell," Clemens said, via Matt Snyder of CBS Sports. "I think Mitchell got paid, before my name got put in there, I think he got paid close to $40 million.
