The Cleveland Indians have locked down catcher Roberto Perez for the next few years, the team announced Sunday.
Perez was set to be arbitration eligible for the first time after this season, but this deal buys him out through that time, keeping him on the payroll through at least 2020 with team options for the subsequent pair of years.
