Second base has quietly become one of the deepest positions in baseball, with established stars like Ozzie Albies, Luis Arraez, José Altuve, Ketel Marte and Marcus Semien joined by up-and-comers Andrés Giménez, Nolan Gorman Nico Hoerner and 2023 rookies Matt McLain, Edouardo Julien and Zack Gelof. A position change has also added Mookie Betts and Xander Bogaerts to the mix.
