Los Angeles Dodgers first baseman Freddie Freeman's cleats honoring his three-year-old son, Maximus, were officially revealed by the team in a post on X.
Freeman will wear them as part of MLB Players' Weekend, which begins on Friday.
The 34-year-old stepped away from the team on July 26, as his son was diagnosed with Guillain-Barré syndrome. Freeman eventually returned to Los Angeles' lineup on Aug. 5 after Maximus was discharged from the hospital.
