Over the past month, I’ve written at length about the 14 holdover candidates and six newcomers on the 2018 BBWAA Hall of Fame ballot. That still leaves other 13 first-time candidates whose stays on the ballot are likely to be short, as they won’t receive even the 5% of the vote necessary to retain eligibility.
