Mark McGwire is not a member of the Baseball Hall of Fame, and barring the occurrence of something very unusual, he will never be a member of the Baseball Hall of Fame.
McGwire received a vote on only 12.3% of the ballots that the Baseball Writers Association of America (BBWAA) submitted to the Hall of Fame Election Committee on Wednesday, falling well short of the 75% necessary to make the cut. Due to the 10 year limit on eligibility, this year marks his final year on the ballot.
