On Thursday against the Texas Rangers, Oakland A's center fielder Billy Burns put on quite a show with his glove.
With the A's leading 1-0 in the top of the sixth inning, Burns made an incredible play. He went a long way to get to the gap in left-center field and made a diving catch to rob Texas' Delino DeShields Jr. of an extra-base hit.
That wouldn't be the only time Burns flashed some leather on the day.
In the top of the eighth inning and his team still nursing a one-run lead, Burns robbed Texas' Carlos Corporan of an extra-base hit with an athletic catch while crashing into the center field wall.
