Manny Machado's agent is not pleased with recent reports from Buster Olney of ESPN and Bob Nightengale of USA Today.
Olney reported the Chicago White Sox offered Machado a seven-year, $175 million deal, while Nightengale confirmed it and noted they made the offer approximately two weeks ago. Mark Feinsand of MLB.com shared the response from Dan Lozano of MVP Sports Group, which represents the free agent shortstop:
"I have known Bob Nightengale and Buster Olney for many years and have always had good professional relationships with both.
