Indians vs. Twins to Be Played in Puerto Rico Despite Island-Wide Blackout

Despite an island-wide blackout, the scheduled game between the Cleveland Indians and Minnesota Twins in San Juan, Puerto Rico, will be played Wednesday.

According to ABC News, it is expected to take between 24 and 36 hours for power to be restored.

San Juan Mayor Carmen Yulin Cruz tweeted that the game would go on as scheduled after testing emergency systems at Hiram Bithorn Stadium:
