New York Yankees catcher Gary Sanchez was forced to leave Saturday's game against the Baltimore Orioles because of a biceps injury.
Per Jack Curry of the YES Network, the Yankees announced Sanchez suffered a right biceps strain.
The injury occurred in the fifth inning when Sanchez swung at a pitch from Orioles pitcher Kevin Gausman. He grimaced in pain for a moment, grabbing his right arm when the Yankees' trainer came out to look at him. Sanchez was removed after a brief conversation with the trainer and manager Joe Girardi.
