The All-Star break cannot come soon enough for the Chicago Cubs. An anemic offense and a questionable starting rotation, the Cubs need the All-Star break to rejuvenate and replenish before the second half of the season. The Cubs’ offense has been struggling of late scoring only 12 runs in the last eight games. To go along with that, the Cubs have given up 26 runs in the last eight games for a negative 14 run differential in that stretch. After winning four straight the Cubs have dropped five of their last six.
