Cecil Leaves Game with Apparent Leg Injury
The Blue Jays reliever had to be helped off the field with a left leg injury while tagging out Rangers first baseman Mike Napoli on a rundown following a pickoff.
Fox Sports’ Ken Rosenthal reported that Cecil is currently being evaluated with what is believed to be calf tightness.
Darren Dutchyshen of TSN noted the injury may be even more severe than originally thought.
