Blue Jays OF Colabello suspended 80 games

Toronto Blue Jays outfielder Chris Colabello was suspended 80 games without pay for testing positive for a performance-enhancing substance, Major League Baseball announced on Friday.

Colabello's positive test for dehydrochlormethyltestosterone was a violation of MLB's joint drug prevention and treatment program. His suspension is effective immediately.

Colabello, 32, is batting .069 in 10 games for the Blue Jays this season. In 2015, his first season with Toronto, he batted .321 with 15 HR and 54 RBI.

Earlier today, the Blue Jays agreed to terms with free agent outfielder Michael Bourn on a minor league deal, according to ESPN's Jim Bowden and FOX Sports.
