With that said, I don’t believe I’ve ever experienced something as deeply moving as the sight of Bartolo Colon chasing down A.J. Pierzynski like a bowlegged Komodo dragon after a field mouse.
The inimitable Mets pitcher notched an all-time moment for himself and the Internet at large on Thursday when he caught Pierzynski with his feet in the cookie jar and tracked the Atlanta Braves catcher down in a wild, almost surreal fashion.
