Fresh off their Wild Card win over the Yankees, the Houston Astros are set to play their first-ever American League Division Series game when they take on the Kansas City Royals on Thursday night.
It's the Astros' first postseason appearance since 2005, when they were in the National League, and they'll be sending right-hander Collin McHugh to the mound to face Kansas City righty Yordano Ventura. First pitch is set for just after 7:30 p.m. ET.
McHugh, who was 19-7 with a 3.89 ERA this season, threw seven shutout innings and struck out nine in a win over Kansas City in May 2014, his only career appearance against the Royals.
