Houston Astros second baseman Jose Altuve left Tuesday's MLB Summer Camp exhibition after suffering an apparent injury following a run-in at home plate in the top of the fourth inning, per Chandler Rome of the Houston Chronicle:
Chandler RomeWe were Zooming with Zack Greinke, so I didn't see the whole thing live, but it appeared Altuve went in to home plate standing up on a sacrifice fly, tripped and landed on his chest. He seemed dazed, but walked off slowly.
Altuve was 2-for-2 with a hit-by-pitch prior to exiting the contest.
