The Cleveland Indians certainly haven’t lived up to the hype that surrounded the club at the beginning of the 2015 season, but they are by no means out of the playoff race just yet. At 32-36, the Indians are currently sitting in 4th place in the American League Central, eight games behind first-place Kansas City (39-27). The Tribe is sitting four and a half games behind second-place Minnesota (37-32) and two and a half games behind third-place Detroit (35-34).
With the AL Central proving to be one of the toughest division in baseball to this point, the more likely way for the Tribe to enter postseason play is through a wild card spot.
