Coming off an underwhelming 2016 campaign, Adam Lind will hope a change of scenery brings him better luck. The veteran first baseman reportedly agreed to terms on a one-year deal with the Washington Nationals on Monday.
Jon Heyman of Today's Knuckleball first reported the completed deal, with Ken Rosenthal of Fox Sports confirming Lind's one-year deal has a club option for a second season.
Lind hit 20 home runs for the sixth time in his career, but beyond his power production, he added little to the Seattle Mariners lineup last season.
