MLB Rumors: Giants Have Made An Offer For Stanton, Yankees Have Begun Manager Interviews & More

The MLB offseason is just starting to hit a fever pitch with the league's GM meetings taking place. As such, the rumor mill is buzzing with manger changes and trade talks, especially around the future of Giancarlo Stanton. Here are all the latest MLB rumors you need to know.

Giants have made an offer for Giancarlo Stanton

A source inside the San Francisco Giants front office has told me that the Giants have in fact made an offer for Giancarlo Stanton. While they did not mention the details of the offer, the two sides are still, "not close yet at all." The NL MVP is owed between $25 million and $32 million each of the next 10 seasons, and Miami is open to eating some of that salary. He hit .281 with 59 home runs and 132 RBIs in a career-high 159 games this season.

Padres RP could be on his way to the Cardinals

A report from MLB Trade Rumors has claimed the Cardinals would be a perfect fit for Brad Hand and that we could see them make a move for him around the Winter Meetings. He will cost a pretty penny however, so look for prospect heavy teams who need bullpen help such as the Twins and Braves to also make a run at him this offseason.
