Key To The Game:

Chicago's hitting will be absolutely crucial in this one. The Cubs have managed just three runs through the first two games after scoring 14 in their previous two. They now have to face deGrom, who is 2-0 with a 1.38 ERA this postseason - however, the Cubs won both their regular season meetings against the Mets when deGrom was pitching. Something has to give in this one.

What They're Saying About Chicago

Why the Chicago Cubs can beat Jacob deGrom in Game 3

Prediction: Cubs win 3-2

This game will be another pitcher's duel, and even though I expect deGrom to be dominant, I can't see the Cubs going down 3-0 by losing this one at home. Chicago will get an early home run off of deGrom and hold on for the narrow victory.
