Aaron Judge Beats Miguel Sanó To Win 2017 MLB Home Run Derby

Aaron Judge delivered on the hype, and is now the 2017 MLB Home Run Derby Champion. The New York Yankees right fielder beat out Minnesota Twins slugger Miguel Sanó in the finals of the timed, bracket style event. Judge was the best hitter all night long, finishing with the most home runs after every round, including 23 in the opening round.

Sanó seemed to tire out by the time the finals came around, knocking 10 homers out of the park while Judge stepped up and blasted 11 to win in just over two minutes.

Marlins Park was cheering for the Miami's Giancarlo Stanton and Justin Bour, but both were eliminated in the first round. Stanton produced many of the longest home runs of the night, but a slow start kept him from advancing out of the first round.

However, Judge hit the longest home runs of the night with TWO home runs that went over 500 feet.

Below, we have the results from each round of the event.
