Oh It’s committee time! We have officially reached the time of year when the SEC student-athlete committees are formed, and I always love to see who has been selected for leadership positions. Women’s Hoops shared their selections on Thursday, so let’s have a look! (If available, I’ve included any information I could find about specific committees)
First up is S.A.F.E., or Student Athletes Fostering Equality, which is a committee formed in 2018 as part of the UM system’s Inclusive Excellence Framework with a goal of “guiding substantive and systemic change” in collegiate athletics. What a great opportunity for junior Aijha Blackwell and freshman Skylah Travis!
