COLUMBIA, MO. • As he embarks on a search to hire just the fourth Missouri baseball coach since FDR took office, athletics director Mack Rhoades issued a statement Tuesday:
“As we begin this search process, we are excited for the opportunity to identify an outstanding leader for the Mizzou Baseball program. The SEC is widely recognized as the toughest baseball conference in the country which poses a tremendous challenge, but one we are not going to back down from. Our vision is to compete for conference championships and be nationally relevant in all sports.
