The Tigers got off to a near-perfect 2025-26 campaign last Thursday night when they just about blanked Central Arkansas in almost everything they could've. In the end, Mizzou defended their home field, running away with it 61-6.
It's clear that the Tigers, both fans and players, were looking past that first game, into their week two matchup versus Kansas, one of the oldest rivalries in sports. Even though its' lost some juice in the last decade or so, since Mizzou left the Big 12, the hatred these teams have for each other is unmatched.
Columbia will not only be hosting the rivarly on their home turf, but will also be home to a pair of major network shows for the weekend.
