The Missouri baseball team blew a four-run lead to No. 2 seed Vanderbilt in the second round of the Southeastern Conference tournament in Hoover, Ala., and lost 7-6 on a 10th-inning walk-off home run.
Vanderbilt scored the tying run in the bottom of the ninth with two outs off Missouri closer Breckin Williams when Penn Murfee singled into centerfield and Jake Ring misplayed the ball, allowing Nolan Rogers to score. Rogers walked earlier in the inning.
After a scoreless top half of the 10th, Williams gave up the game-winning homer to Rhett Wiseman.
With the loss, Mizzou (30-27) dropped to the loser's bracket in the double-elimination format and faces Alabama at 9:30 a.
