Satellite camps have been a hot topic for some time now, and with the NCAA banning them Friday, we’ve heard from multiple coaches in the SEC, PAC-12 and ACC on their feelings about these camps and how it affects them.
On Saturday, after Stanford’s spring game, Stanford coach David Shaw had this to say about satellite camps and his stance on them for his program, via the Stanford-centric website ruleoftree.com:
“I have no opinion,” Shaw said. “It’s never affected us. People do them, and people don’t do them. We’ve got great attendance at the camps we have here – we get a lot of guys we want to come.
