Coach Eli Drinkwitz and select offensive players were available to the media earlier today to give some quick updates on the state of the team.
Drinkwitz updated some injury reports to start. Freshman defensive end Ky Montgomery suffered a torn ACL earlier this week and will redshirt this season. Starting running back Tyler Badie was held out of today’s practice for precautionary purposes after a collision left him shaken last week.
The Chance Luper hype train chugged on, as Drinkwitz formally stated that he has had the best fall camp out of any wide receiver. Redshirt senior Barrett Banister agreed, explaining “I’m very proud of how far Chance has come; he’s taken huge steps between years one and two.
