CREVE COUER • Michael Thompson is headed to Oklahoma.
A 6-foot-4 and 330-pound defensive tackle, Thompson announced his commitment at an assembly Wednesday at Parkway North High.
Thompson had cut his list of more than 30 top-tier offers to Missouri and Oklahoma.
A consensus four-star recruit, Thompson is rated as the No. 4 defensive tackle in the nation by 247sports.com and No. 5 by Rivals.com. Both recruiting services list him as the No. 2 recruit in Missouri.
Thompson's commitment to Oklahoma gives the Sooners the two top recruits in Missouri, according to 247sports.
