COLUMBIA, MO. * Gary Pinkel usually gave his Missouri teams several days away from the practice field during bye weeks, but that hasn’t been the case under Barry Odom. Coming off Saturday’s 42-7 loss at Louisiana State, the Tigers (2-3, 0-2 SEC) practiced Sunday, Tuesday and were scheduled to practice again Wednesday, a chance, Odom said, to clean up mistakes made at LSU and for the staff to analyze team’s own strengths and weaknesses through five weeks. The Tigers have also gotten a head start on preparing for their next opponent. The season resumes Oct.
