COLUMBIA, MO. • With a shorter week, Barry Odom moved his press conference to 1 p.m. Monday. Mizzou usually doesn’t practice on Mondays but will hold its normal Tuesday practice on Monday, after which players will be available for interviews. Here are some notes and quotes from Odom’s session with reporters Monday, starting with the news of running back Damarea Crockett’s suspension. After his arrest Sunday, the freshman will not play in Friday’s season finale against Arkansas.
“With all the disciplinary issues, I’ll address it internally and handle it that way, but if you have an arrest during the season (you’re) suspended for at least the next game,” Odom said.
