COLUMBIA, MO. • It’s been five years since the Missouri basketball team filled a line on the NCAA Tournament bracket. The topic rarely came up for discussion the last three years, especially in 2016 when the school self-imposed a postseason ban.
With five games left in the regular season, first-year coach Cuonzo Martin also doesn’t waste much breath on tournament talk.
For Martin, it’s no longer a question of whether the Tigers are in or out of the 68-team field.
“You look at our resumé, I think we’re past that (conversation) unless some major collapse happens,” Martin said Tuesday after the Tigers won their fifth straight game, beating No.
