COLUMBIA, MO. • Both of Missouri’s newly hired assistant football coaches agreed to two-year contracts and each earned raises from their 2017 salaries at other Southeastern Conference schools.
New inside linebackers coach Vernon Hargreaves agreed to a two-year contract with a guaranteed salary of $335,000. Brad Davis, Mizzou’s new offensive line coach, will make $400,000 on his two-year deal. Neither contract has been finalized, but MU released their memorandum of understanding that were signed late last month.
Both contracts expire Feb. 28, 2020. Under the terms of the deals, if either coach is fired without cause, they're owed their base salary in monthly installments for up to 12 months.
