COLUMBIA, Mo. • When Georgia wide receiver Jeremiah Holloman ran into the end zone but dropped the ball near the goal line, Missouri cornerback Christian Holmes zeroed in. He sprinted over from the opposite side of the field and scooped up the ball rolling past the pylon — just in case.
“Coach (Barry) Odom, clear as day, put it on the media board in the team room, showing what happened the game before,” Holmes said.
