COLUMBIA, MO. • The expectations for Jordan Elliott to dominate his first season at Missouri were probably unfair. The former four-star recruit arrived from Texas last season and earned high praise from coaches and teammates during his year on the scout team while fulfilling the NCAA’s sit-out year for transfers.
Once he became eligible this season, he showed flashes of becoming a consistent playmaker along the trenches as part of a deep set of defensive tackles.
