Mizzou vs. Georgia: 5 things to watch

Missouri’s defense was last seen covered in burn marks, roasted in West Lafayette, Ind., by someone called David Blough, Purdue’s previously pedestrian quarterback whose 572 passing yards now stands as the school record. Barry Odom and staff had no trouble diagnosing the problems. The Tigers didn’t create a pass rush, couldn’t cover the underneath routes, fell prey to play-action fakes and struggled to defend the deep passes. In other words, nothing worked as planned. Did Mizzou solve the problem in five days of practice or are these going to become recurring issues all season? Georgia quarterback Jake Fromm can’t wait to find out.
