LEXINGTON, Ky. • On the same field where he tied a school record with five touchdown passes, Missouri quarterback Maty Mauk struck first Saturday night at Kentucky’s Commonwealth Stadium, where he drove the Tigers 85 yards for the game’s first score, a 17-yard touchdown pass to J’Mon Moore.
Kentucky answered Missouri’s score with a touchdown run from quarterback Patrick Towles on the first play of the second quarter, a 14-yard scramble on third and long, tying the score at 7-7 with 14:50 left in the first half.
On Mizozu’s 11-play scoring drive, Mauk completed three of four passes and moved the chains with an 11-yard scramble.
