Mizzou reportedly pursuing former G-Leaguer with one semester of eligibility left

In one of the more odd developments, Missouri basketball is apparently pursuing a former G-League player who still has some college eligibility left.

Kyree Walker, who most recently played basketball in Mongolia's top league, is attempting a move college basketball. Among the schools reportedly vying for the 25-year old is Mizzou, who still technically has a roster spot available.

Could Mizzou add a player for a late season run?

The Tigers do have a spot available, and Walker could theoretically join them for a push at an NCAA Tournament bid. While it's certainly an unusual situation, Mizzou isn't in a position to be shooing away opportunities.
