The Mizzou hoops team is set to begin its season looking to build off a young roster from a season ago. Coach Cuonzo Martin said he sees a team that is as good as anybody in the SEC and could challenge night in and night out on the hardwood.
Media members of the SEC did not think so much, as the Tigers were slotted 13th out of 14 teams in the conference preseason poll that came out last week.
On Monday, the Associated Press Top 25 preseason poll came out, and Mizzou hoops received plenty of points.
