Mizzou hoops has been pretty consistent this season. The Tigers are good on defense and have some scoring threats at the guard position. That was evident Wednesday night at Mizzou Arena.
Mizzou knocked off Morehead State 70-52 to improve to 4-1 and hand the Eagles their first loss of the season. The Tigers pulled away late to secure their fourth win of the season, and they again were led by junior Mark Smith.
The guard scored a game-high 21 points on 7 of 9 shooting. He also knocked down three 3-pointers, which again was a struggle for Mizzou.
