COLUMBIA, MO. • Missouri officially has a recruiting class and a defensive line coach.
A week after D-line coach Chris Wilson abruptly left the staff to join the Philadelphia Eagles, Mizzou coach Barry Odom announced Arizona State assistant Jackie Shipp as the team's new defensive line coach.
Shipp, 53, was ASU's defensive line coach the last three seasons after holding the same position at Oklahoma, his alma mater, from 1999-2012, during which he coached in four national championship games.
"I'm thrilled that we have the opportunity to welcome Coach Shipp to the Mizzou family," Odom said.
