After losing a defensive assistant to the Big 12, that's where Barry Odom went to find an addition to his staff. David Gibbs will join Mizzou as a defensive assistant after spending the last four years as Texas Tech's defensive coordinator. Mizzou will release his contract details and announce his specific role pending completion of the university human resources process.
“I’m excited to have David join our staff,” Odom said. “He’s got an extensive track record of success in his career, and I’m confident he’ll be a great addition to our athletic department, football program and defensive room.
