After Anderson’s Tigers outplayed his Gamecocks by every measure Tuesday at Mizzou Arena — on a night that began with more bad news for Anderson’s ever-shrinking roster — Martin went to bat for his coaching peer.
The Tigers, the Southeastern Conference’s last-place team when the night began, dismantled Martin’s SEC contender from the opening tip and led for more than 38 minutes in a 72-67 victory.
