With Tucker McCann handling both kicking positions this year, it was going to be important to fill in with a new kicker soon. Wednesday night Missouri Football might have found their guy for next season with the commitment of one of the top rated kickers in the country, 5-star kicker Harrison Mevis.
Mevis isn’t a 5-star by the traditional recruiting services, but they have a difficult time quantifying and qualifying the star system when it applies to kickers. But Kohls ranked Mevis as the #2 ranked kicker, and 10th ranked punter, and Kohls is one of few kicking scout sites which seems to accurately rank kickers and punters.
