Mizzou football: Tigers get points in AP ranking

The Mizzou football team is back to receiving points in the Associated Press Top 25.

After Week 1, the Tigers were left out of the poll by each AP voter for two-straight weeks, but after Saturday’s victory over South Carolina, Mizzou returned.

Missouri received 14 points in this week’s poll, tying the Tigers with fellow SEC member Mississippi State. Mizzou and Mississippi State would be 34th in the ranking if it counted.

Dropped from the rankings are Washington State, Arizona State and TCU. The Cougars still have more points than the Tigers, but are just ahead of them with 21.
