Mizzou football has two Associated Press All-SEC players from the 2019 season.
Linebacker Nick Bolton and defensive lineman Jordan Elliott both were named to the top team Monday. Bolton, a sophomore, and Elliott, a junior, together led a strong defensive unit for the Tigers throughout the 2019 season and it’s no surprise that the two are placed on the first team.
Elliott was a third-team preseason All-SEC selection. Bolton was not on any team back in the summer.
Bolton started all 12 games for the Tigers at linebacker, and took over as the defensive later midway though the year when star senior Cale Garrett was out for the season with a pectoral injury.
