Mizzou football: Lock can show more progress in prime time

Not many players are getting this much attention on national TV.

Denver Broncos second-round pick Drew Lock will get a second shot to show his skill in front of national television as the Denver Broncos play the San Francisco 49ers on Monday Night Football on ESPN.

Lock showed plenty of improvement in his second game last week against the Seattle Seahawks. The four-year Tigers starter went 17 of 28 for 180 yards and a touchdown to go with an interception. That followed the rookie’s first NFL action from the week before.

Lock went 7 of 11 for 34 yards against the Atlanta Falcons in the Hall of Fame game.
