The AP writers have spoken, and the Missouri Tigers are not a preseason top 25 team. Barely.
Despite other polls putting the Tigers in between 19 and 25, the AP released its first poll Monday and Mizzou football was left off the list.
But the Tigers sit at No. 26
Here is the complete Associated Press Top 25 College Football Preseason Poll. You could probably guess Nos. 1, 2 and 3.
Missouri received 117 points, not enough to catch No. 25 Stanford, which had 141.
There were six SEC teams on this year’s initial poll that left Missouri the top team out of the top 25.
