COLUMBIA, Mo. — Missouri is leaning into the marketplace of running backs.

It has nothing to do with dollars and cents. Rather, it’s like philosophy’s “marketplace of ideas” argument for free expression, which argues that the best, most valuable ideas naturally will rise to the forefront.

Now apply that to a tailback.

Several are vying for the chance to replace Cody Schrader as the Tigers’ primary rusher. They have different styles and different experience levels, but as spring camp winds down, they have one thing in common: a real chance at the job.
